FAQ

PrivacyLocal Questions

Are files uploaded for hashing or metadata cleaning?

No. Hashing and image redraws run locally in the browser.

Can ANOMONIX recover encrypted text?

No. The password is not stored or sent anywhere. Lost passwords cannot be recovered.

Does canvas metadata cleaning preserve every image property?

It redraws the image pixels into a new PNG, which removes embedded metadata but may change format and compression.
