Refund Policy
Last updated: 27 April 2026
This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, credits, and non-refundable charges are handled by ANOMONIX LTD, trading as ANOMONIX:Stack ("ANOMONIX:Stack", "we", "us", or "our").
This Policy applies to purchases of hosting and related services made through ANOMONIX:Stack, whether purchased directly, through a recurring subscription, or through a renewal process.
This Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions. By purchasing, renewing, or using our services, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to services including, where offered:
- shared hosting
- managed hosting
- virtual private servers
- domain registration and renewal services
- SSL certificates
- DNS services
- email hosting
- migration services
- setup or configuration services
- add-ons, licences, and third-party products.
Not all products are refundable, and different rules apply depending on the type of product, how it was provisioned, whether it has been renewed, whether third-party costs have already been incurred, and whether the service has already been used or activated.
2. Refund Eligibility for Hosting Services
Unless a different offer or service-specific term applies, eligible new hosting services may be refunded if you request cancellation and refund within 14 days of the original payment date.
This refund window applies only to eligible hosting services and does not automatically apply to all products purchased alongside hosting.
Where you request that a service begins during a statutory cooling-off period, and the law permits us to do so, we may deduct an amount that reflects the value of the service already supplied up to the point of cancellation.
Refunds requested outside the applicable refund window are not normally available unless:
- required by law
- expressly agreed by us in writing; or
- covered by a specific service-level commitment or promotional refund promise.
3. Renewals and Subsequent Billing Periods
Unless we expressly state otherwise for a particular product or promotion, renewal payments are generally non-refundable once the renewal has been processed, especially where the renewal secures continued access, incurs third-party charges, or preserves service continuity.
You are responsible for managing renewals, cancellation settings, and payment methods before the renewal date.
Cancellation of a service stops future renewals but does not automatically reverse a payment that has already been taken.
4. Cancellations
You may cancel an eligible recurring service at any time.
Unless you request immediate termination or the service must be removed sooner for legal, operational, or abuse-related reasons, cancellation usually prevents future renewal and allows the service to remain active until the end of the paid billing period.
Cancellation and refund are not the same thing:
- cancellation stops future billing
- refund means repayment of an amount already charged
- a cancelled service is only refundable where it falls within this Policy or where required by law.
5. Non-Refundable Products and Charges
The following are generally non-refundable once purchased, registered, issued, provisioned, renewed, activated, or materially used:
- domain name registrations
- domain name renewals
- domain name transfers
- redemption, restoration, or registry recovery fees
- premium domain names
- registry, registrar, or third-party provider charges
- SSL certificates once issued
- dedicated IP addresses
- software licences and other third-party subscriptions
- setup fees
- migration fees
- custom configuration, development, or professional services work
- one-off support, administration, or engineering work
- usage-based charges
- taxes or non-recoverable payment processing costs where applicable
- services suspended or terminated for fraud, abuse, spam, unlawful activity, chargeback abuse, or breach of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.
6. Domain-Specific Refund Rules
Domain names are subject to registry, registrar, and extension-specific rules. For that reason, domain-related fees are usually non-refundable once a registration, renewal, transfer, or recovery process has begun.
In limited cases, a particular registry or registrar may permit cancellation and refund within a short time window. Where that applies, any such refund will be limited strictly to the extent that the underlying provider permits it and only where we are able to recover the relevant amount ourselves.
Where a hosting plan includes a "free", discounted, bundled, or promotional domain, and the hosting service is later refunded, we may deduct the standard or actual domain cost from the refund if the domain has been registered, transferred, renewed, or retained for your use.
7. VPS, Server, and Higher-Risk Infrastructure Products
Server-class services, including VPS and similar infrastructure products, may be excluded from standard hosting refund windows or may be refundable only under stricter conditions.
Where a server product is refundable, eligibility may depend on factors such as:
- the time elapsed since payment
- whether the service has been deployed or materially used
- whether a refund has previously been granted for a similar server product
- whether third-party licensing or provisioning costs have already been incurred.
Unless we expressly state otherwise in a product listing or order flow, you should assume that server-grade services are not refundable once provisioned.
8. Add-Ons, Promotions, and Bundled Products
Where an order includes bundled services, free months, discounted setup, promotional credits, or free/discounted add-ons, any refund may be adjusted to reflect:
- the actual value of products retained by you
- non-refundable third-party charges already incurred
- the loss of promotional pricing tied to a minimum term or bundled purchase.
If a refunded order included a free or discounted product that you keep, we may deduct the ordinary price or provider cost of that product from the refund.
9. Fraud, Abuse, and Refund Misuse
We may refuse a refund, in whole or in part, where we reasonably believe that the request is connected with:
- fraud or attempted fraud
- stolen payment methods
- chargeback abuse
- repeated short-term signups intended only to exploit trial or refund windows
- spam, phishing, malware, or network abuse
- unlawful activity
- breach of our Terms & Conditions or Acceptable Use Policy
- deliberate misuse of our services or refund process.
Where a service has been suspended or terminated for abuse, fraud, or serious breach, no refund will normally be due.
10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first giving us a reasonable opportunity to review a valid refund request, we may suspend or terminate the associated services and account pending investigation.
A chargeback does not create an automatic entitlement to retain any service, domain, licence, data, or access that was purchased using the disputed payment.
We reserve the right to contest unjustified disputes and to recover amounts properly due to us.
11. Refund Method and Timing
Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method used for the transaction, unless we agree otherwise or the original method is unavailable.
Where payments are processed through a merchant-of-record or payment processor, the refund may be handled through that provider and may be subject to their operational timelines.
Refund timing depends on the payment route used, banking systems, card issuer processing, and any intermediary provider involved. We do not control the processing time of banks, card issuers, or third-party payment platforms once the refund has been submitted.
12. Partial Refunds and Deductions
Where a refund is approved, it may be:
- full
- partial; or
- reduced by non-refundable components, already-consumed service value, third-party costs, or bundled-product adjustments.
Examples of deductions may include:
- domain registration or renewal fees
- issued certificate fees
- consumed migration or setup work
- charges for services already delivered at your request during a statutory cancellation period
- costs arising from retained promotional or bundled items.
13. Data, Deletion, and Service Access
If you request a refund that results in termination of the service, your access to the service may end immediately or shortly afterwards.
You are responsible for downloading, migrating, or otherwise securing any data you wish to retain before requesting or confirming cancellation or refund.
We are not responsible for loss of data resulting from service termination, account closure, expiry, or deletion following a valid cancellation or refund.
14. How to Request a Refund
Refund requests should be submitted through the billing or support method we make available for your account, or by any refund contact route we specifically publish for billing matters.
To help us process your request, you should include:
- the account email address
- the relevant service, domain, or product
- the invoice, order, or transaction reference
- the date of payment
- the reason for the request.
Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Each request will be assessed against this Policy, the product purchased, the service status, the payment history, and any applicable legal rights.
15. Third-Party Refund Processing
Where payment was made through a third-party merchant of record, reseller, or payment provider, including Paddle where applicable, approved refunds may be processed by that provider. ANOMONIX may determine service-side refund eligibility under this Refund Policy, but the payment provider may also issue, refuse, or require refunds where required by law, payment scheme rules, fraud prevention, chargeback handling, or its buyer terms.
16. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy affects any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
Where you are a consumer and the law gives you cancellation or refund rights that cannot legally be excluded, those rights will continue to apply.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time.
The version published on our website at the time of your purchase or renewal will normally apply to that transaction, unless a later version is required by law or expressly stated to apply.
